Oh man, I just went on 19 killing streak without dieing on COD4 Multiplayer and hit the 17 killing streak mark. It just clicked and I’m f*cking owning now. I’m currently @ Level 26 2nd Lieutenant I. When I hit level 25 is when I was able to get the scope on my M16 assault and SMG spec op guns. Still need the 100 kills with the sniper though. But No problem for me on Xbox Live so far. This game fawk'n roXs and I think it's far better than halo 3 both single and multiplayer.

Edit: Meh, N4G don't display the pics at they're original size so you can't really tell. Oh well. Just know it says 1080p on the box and it says it for a reason. I'm sure Infinity Ward, Microsoft nor Activision is looking for a Lawsuit by means of False Advertisement.

Sony and Samsung are the best in quality and lead the market for LCD tech. The Sony is a little more expensive, but guess what? Samsung makes the internal parts for Sony. So essentially, Sony Bravia series have the same exact parts under the hood as Samsung LCD’s but Samsung offers a few more features such as 'game mode'. Well, I'm buying myself a PS3 this Christmas so I'll have to rent it and compare for myself. I've seen High Def Screenshots of COD4 from the PS3 version and to tell ya the truth, they look identical if not slightly better on my TV/360 (due to PC monitor inferior to my HDTV, and my LCD monitor is no slouch either). So if you haven't played the game and thought those PS3 screenshots were amazing, try it on a console with a kick ass TV and surround sound. That's about as honest as I can get. ...
I'm looking at the back of my COD4 case (360 version) and it says "HDTV 720p/1080i/1080p" as well as the the 360 HDTV settings accept 1080p.
No matter which platform, I think the game looks identical. I can't tell a difference unless we pulled out a microscope and analyzed the sh*t out of it. It's a great game and a must buy for anybody who enjoys FPS's. Take the game for face value and enjoy it no matter which platform.

Big-K is still in business? I thought Walmart bought out K-mart? I recall a few years ago K-mart filed bankruptcy thus changing the corporate name to Big-K but I haven't seen a Big-K in years. Edit; Never mind, There's a Big-K on the outskirts of the city where I reside. However, I highly doubt this will make even the slightest dent in the format war but it is one up for the HD-DVD side.
Microsoft should strike a deal with Paramount and Dreamworks and drop Fox and Universal which would benefit Toshiba and HD-DVD as well thus producing more investors for the film’s budget while at the same time killing two birds with one stone (No Blu-ray version). It is a possibility.

WTF? I just bought an Elite and they come out with a better 360? I'm left with some tacky piece of sh*t HD-DVD player add-on and the ugly thing doesn't even match the color of the Elite. I know Microsoft is trying to Stay ahead of the competition but this is getting ridiculous. Face it, Halo 3 has released and that's basically all that's left for the 360. PS3 has not even released it's triple "A" games yet and with this new PS3 @ $399, 360 is finished for the next few years to come....

I plan on buying one this upcoming Christmas. The price is right and Blu-ray is in the fight. I cannot Justify anything over $400 for a PS3 considering it's worth to me when I already have a 360 that slaughters the PS3, no, straight F-ing manhandles the PS3 when it comes to satisfying your game appetite. Considering I have no PS1 or PS2 games, this SKU is perfect for guys like me.
COD4 has Clan support, you only need to reach a certain level to access it which is better because there won't be so many noob clans running around. I see nothing wrong with COD4 party and invite options and it always works fine for me. Perhaps that's the difference between XBL and PSN is the party invite options go through Xbox Live and the unified 360 chat/invite etc. rather than leave it up to the game developer to add those options like on PSN.
